RemarksI had been out in the backyard using binoculars while looking west to observe globular star cluster M35 in the lower part of Gemini.. I had just lowered the binos when a glare from from over my left shoulder startled me. I thought for a moment the lady next door had turned on the security floodlights. Quickly turned around just in time to see an enormous fireball dropping straight down from the southeast. First time I ever saw one of this size and magnitude. Very bright! Went straight down and was gone in a matter of seconds.
