RemarksThree of us were out looking for ‘shooting stars’ as we often do when on vacation in Maine. We were there only about 15 minutes when the meteor lit up the beach behind and to the right of us. There were some thin light clouds low in the sky, which were backlit by the meteor as it passed behind them. With no moon, the light of the meteor was very dramatic.
